Chaminade wedding

It may have been raining on Saint Patrick’s Day but that didn’t dampen the spirits at this wedding at Chaminade!

I’ve never seen a bird of paradise bouquet quite like this! The flowers were from Barbara at Aloha Home & Garden. I like how the colors pop with the bridesmaid dresses. Very Festive! Wedding Worx, a new meetup for brides to share ideas and inspiration

Calling all Brides, we’re hosting a free mixer this Sunday 1-3 PM. Wedding Worx is an informal gathering for brides and select wedding vendors. It’s a place where brides can ask vendors questions, meet other brides who are also planning their big day and hopefully share ideas and inspiration. We want to hear all about your wedding!

Reverend Donna Rose Gardner with Honey in the Heart Ceremonies will be on hand to answer your questions about writing your own vows, customizing your ceremony and obtaining a marriage license. Lezlie Johnson of Grand Design Floral has decades of floral expertise to share. Allyson Grande, event planner at Shadowbrook has lots of tips on coordination. When it comes to looking your best in front of the camera on your wedding day, I have tons of advice! DJ Brian Burns and Sonja will also be here and providing music. Stop by and say hello, have a glass of bubbly and some treats from Freedom Bakery. We’re here to answer your questions and share ideas. The next Wedding Worx is scheduled for Sunday July 1, 2012. Seascape Bridal Show

Seascape Wedding Faire

One of my favorite bridal shows is at Seascape Beach Resort in Aptos, CA, just south of Santa Cruz.

The view at Seascape is one of the nicest and most comfortable places to have a beach wedding without being on the sand.

Every year they have a bridal show so couples can meet vendors from their preferred vendor list, taste the amazing food the banquet department offers and be inspired from the many decorated tables in the dining room.

I LOVE this cameo wedding cake with maple fondant by Just Cake.

What a gorgeous orchid and rose arrangement from Laurie at Seascape Flowers. The fabric and chandelier are from Eventscapes.
