For Griff, it means finishing 12 years of school, starting college and a lifetime of smiling for my camera. For me, it’s realizing that I’ve been studying photography for 18 years and shooting professionally for 11.

When I was younger, I always enjoyed taking photos but after having a child, my passion for photography escalated. Trips to the park always included a camera in the diaper bag. My darkroom was equipped with baby monitors and my kids were always in front of my camera. I’m currently going through boxes of photos I’ve taken over the years and remembering all of our adventures and the friends we have made along the way. I feel a retrospective in the works! Check back soon for a slideshow.
